Description

The MCC-SAMA5D3X-C CPU Module is an industrial SOM (System-on-Module) equipped with Atmel’s ARM Cortex-A5 SAMA5D3 series microprocessors which can operate at up to 536MHz. The module integrates the core components on board including 256MB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MB Nand Flash, 4MB Data Flash, 64KB EEPROM and Gigabit Ethernet PHY. It has two 2.0mm pitch 80-pin male pin header connectors and two 2.0mm pitch 34-pin pin header interfaces to bring out all the I/O signals from the CPU Module. It is a Linux and Android ready-to-run module and supports -40 to +85 Celsius Extended Temperature Operation for Industrial Applications.


MCC-SAMA5D3X CPU Module


The MCC-SAMA5D3X-C series CPU Modules allow five selections of Atmel SAMA5D31, SAMA5D33, SAMA5D34, SAMA5D35 and SAMA5D36 processors. All five modules are sharing the same circuit design with minor configuration settings. The MCC-SAMA5D3X-C CPU Module series have following models:

Customers can design their own base board using MYIR’s MCC-SAMA5D3X-C CPU modules as the core components to extend peripheral functions by headers to connectors on their base boards. MYIR also designed one base board for customers’ evaluation, prototype and creating applications. The development board is called MYD-SAMA5D3X-C which is using the MCC-SAMA5D3X-C as controller board and extends many of peripherals on the base board.
